LVS Decorative Arts has dated this piece to the 1900s.

This leads down to a finely carved frieze consisting of central carved Classical urn framed within a moulded panel with scrolling foliate, flower and anthemion decoration.
The tables are supported on four tapered legs, the top of each leg having applied, chamfered moulding leading down to a fluted leg, these terminating with an acanthus leaf and acorn foot.

These tables could be put together to form a circular table but are really more suited to their original use, as console or side tables.
This pair of tables are in very good condition for age, are of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
