Description

A 19th century Tunbridgware travelling/folding Cribbage Board with foliate and floral decoration.

The box is predominantly made of mahogany but the outer surface is heavily decorated with flowers and check-work pattern in a variety of woods, typical of Tunbridge-ware. The interior is lined with pink floral paper. There is a small lidded compartment (to house Cribbage pegs) which has a Mother-of-Pearl knob.

Dimensions: 5.25 inches long - Closed / 10.5 inches - Open.

Dated: Mid 19th Century.
