C18th Spanish Walnut and Fruitwood Centre Table

Description

Impressive C18th Spanish walnut and fruitwood centre table; having a fabulous lustrous colour; the striking fruitwood top having the very unusual feature of a carved foliate moulded edge with finely carved masks to the corners. Supported on the traditional tressel ends of a very fluid design terminating in carved scrolled feet; joined by exaggerated scrolled stretchers united by the original sweeping wrought iron supports with scrollwork ends.

Spanish circa 1760

Very good condition with a lovely honey colour and patina.
