This Edwardian Revival nest of four occasional side tables dates from circa 1920 and follows a classic English Country House design. The set is made of mahogany with a warm brown colour and a polished finish, showing a good age, colour and patina alongside minor historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections and repairs with no loose joints or woodworm. Each table top has a dark inlaid border around the edge, and the structures are supported by slender turned spindle legs that lead down to flared splayed feet with curved silhouettes, while connecting stretchers link the lower framework. The large table measures 56 cm wide by 37 cm deep by 71 cm high, with the remaining three tables scaling down progressively in size down to 41 cm wide by 27 cm deep by 65 cm high.
