Pair of 19th Century Antique Oak Carved Wall Brackets

A lovely pair of solid antique oak, Scottish hand carved wall brackets or corbels that featuring a Shepherd and a Lady, the Shepherd is wearing a Tam O’ Shanter cap and is leaning on a crook with a sheep dog at heel. The Lady on the opposing corbel is wearing a shawl with a lamb at foot whilst opening a gate. The background is beautifully carved in ivy leaves and with harebells in the foreground. They are both in excellent condition, a decorative pair of Scottish Folk Art antique carved wall brackets.
