An 18th Century Flintlock Pistol.
The pistol with a brass screw off barrel, with proof marks. The mechanism in a brass housing, engraved for the maker ''Ketland, London'' within draped colours. The flintlock mechanism hold on half and full cock, whilst opening the flush trigger, complete with slide safety. The whole with a walnut grip.
Date circa 1780.
Height 4 inches, 10cm.
Width 6 1/4 inches, 16.5cm.
Depth 3/4 inch, 2cm.
