Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Rococo Revival Meissen porcelain, produced primarily during the nineteenth century, is characterised by asymmetrical scrollwork, pastel colour palettes, intricate hand-moulded floral encrustations, and detailed figural sculpture inspired by eighteenth-century originals.

These pieces were crafted using hard-paste porcelain, hand-formed in individual moulds before being assembled, kiln-fired, and decorated with overglaze enamel paints and hand-applied gilding.

Authentic pieces typically bear the underglaze blue crossed swords factory mark on the base, along with incised model numbers, painter marks, and exceptionally crisp detail in the sculpting of figures and floral embellishments.

A pair of decorative candelabra functions effectively as a focal point on a formal dining table, sideboard top, or fireplace mantelpiece, contrasting well against modern minimalist backdrops or traditional panelling.

Clean delicate porcelain encrustations using a soft dry paintbrush or compressed air to remove dust; avoid immersing pieces in water or using abrasive chemical cleaners that could damage overglaze enamels or gilding.
