The text Reads:
ON THIS SITE FORMERLY STOOD
THE CHURCH OF ALL HALLOWS THE GREAT
OF WHICH
THE EARLIEST DATE ASSIGNED IS A.D. 1316.
DESTROYED BY THE FIRE OF LONDON IN 1666
REBUILT BY SIR CHRISTOPHER WREN
DEMOLISHED IN 1894
THE CHURCH OF ALL HALLOWS ST. PANCRAS
BEING BUILT OUT OF THE PROCEEDS
OF THE SALE OF THE SITE
