FAQs

Regency style, spanning the early 19th century, draws heavily on classical Greek, Roman, and exotic motifs, featuring clean lines, dark or painted finishes, and balanced proportions.

These tables were typically crafted from native hardwoods like mahogany, beech, or pine, often finished with detailed gesso, lacquer, hand-painted motifs, or gilded brass accents.

Authentic pieces exhibit period-appropriate joinery, hand-mixed pigments, natural aging of the lacquer, and tool marks consistent with manual woodworking rather than modern manufacturing.

It functions effectively as a standalone accent piece next to a neutral sofa or in an empty corner, pairing traditional craftsmanship with modern minimalist surroundings to create visual contrast.

Maintain stable indoor humidity levels, keep the surface away from direct sunlight, and clean gently with a dry or barely damp microfiber cloth without harsh chemical polishes.
