Superb Quality Regency Antique Cellarette / Wine Cooler

This Superb Quality early 19th Century Regency Antique Cellarette / Wine Cooler dates from ca. 1830. It has a flat top with moulded edges on a tapering body with beautiful turned bun feet. The hinged lid opens and the interior still retains the original lead lining for storing wine. This is not only a very decorative antique but is very usable and a stunning example. The Mahogany has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.

Approximate dimensions are:

Height: 54 cm / 21 inches

Width: 70 cm / 27.5 inches

Depth: 50 cm / 19 inches
