Based on a porcelain statuette from 1745 modeled by the artist J.J. Kendler (Meissen).

The Chelsea Porcelain Factory was founded in 1743 by two Frenchmen: the jeweller Charles Guin and the silversmith Nicholas Sprimon.

The Chelsea Porcelain Factory was the first important porcelain manufactory in England.

Its early pieces of soft paste porcelain were intended for the aristocratic market.

The height is 16.2 cm.
