A very unusual early 19th century rectangular needlework sampler, by Matilda Ann Reynolds/Her Work/Aged [...] Years 18**, embroidered in colourful threads with an Italianate landscape, the borders in the earlier 17th century taste with meandering topsy-turvy foliage,
