A very good quality 19th century Amboyna center table, with Wedgwood porcelain plaques depicting classical scenes, having parcel gilt decoration and ormolu mounts and raised on a four splay base.
 
In the manner of Holland and Son.
 
The firm of Holland & Sons (1803–1942) became from 1843 one of the largest and most successful cabinet makers, and a rival to Gillows of Lancaster and London.
