Early C19th George IV period mahogany extending dining table.Pull-out action telescopic mahogany dining table with 2 original leaves . Unusual carved leaf details to the top and base of the legs onto a substantial rare pattern brass cup castor and wheel. The top of the legs with circular raised disc paterae decoration. The whole top and additional leaves with a ‘thumb’ moulded edge .Two original spare extension fitted with brass clip fixings . The top having the original finish with variances in colour to leaves from sunlight exposure and use . The surface with various historic marks and stains commensurate with age , use and purpose, but crucially retains original surface and skin .The table has achieved a pleasing mellow patina and colour.
