Description

Circa 1830. Fine quality extending George IV mahogany dining table. The rectangular table with rounded corners and moulded edges in wonderful figured mahogany with two original leaves. The table expands by an early pull-out mechanism and the leaves are held in place by brass forks. Supported on four classical Gillows of Lancaster-style fluted legs with ring turnings tapering onto cast brass cups and brass castors. Removable leaf of 59 cm wide and one of 60 cm wide.
