Solid oak and circa 1905 with later inscriptions to both plinths. Superb quality carvings of acanthus to the sides and rails. Some damage on one to the carving at the very top. These would have many uses but would make superb reception pieces of a fantastic bar. Would easily take extended granite tops and in doing so you could eliminate the damaged section to the top rail. Generally the condition is very good and of great potential. One inscription reads ''In loving memory Edgar Montague Jones OBE T.D M.A OXON Headmaster of St Alban''s school from 1902-31 and of his wife Emmeline Mary. The other ''In loving memory of Herbert Frederick Eve 1867-1948 and of Elen his wife 1869-1940 requiescent in pace.
