This 19thC Marquetry Tripod Table is highly decorative and is of a particularly useful size. The tripod base is cleverly veneered to help emphasize the shape and design of the base. The base itself is of generous proportions and has a good weight to it, aiding stability.
The top is a tour de force of the marquetry cutters art, totally in sympathy with the shape of the top. There is a decorative ormolu beading to the edge of the top to further emphasize the shape. This table would draw the eye wherever placed in a room.
