A good quality mid 19th Century metamorphic mahogany dumb waiter. When closed it can be used as a low table or when activated opens to make a three tier dumb waiter. The rectangular shaped top leaf lifts and the 3rd shelf lowers automatically by a concealed mechanism and raised by the pushing of a button on the column. Condition - Very good with original patina. Dimensions:- Height Open…42.25’’/ 107.5cm. Height Closed…29.25’’/ 75.5cm. Width…30’’/ 76cm. Depth…18.5’’/ 47cm. Space between shelves when open 14’’/ 35.5cm. and 13.5’’/ 34.5cm..
