Unusual Regency simulated marble pedestal of large scale and retaining its exceptional original faux marble painted finish; the square top with a bold simulated Sienna marble moulding above the tapering column having striking Jasper marble decoration terminating with a Sienna ogee moulding on a black marble square plinth. All painted on a pine carcass.

English circa 1820

Good sound condition with a lovely untouched finish having some minor distressing commensurate of age and use
