Description

Exceptional C19th Italian carved 'Carrara' marble torchere stand; the circular platform top with a moulded dish edge, on the tapering triform column, headed with three female busts of 'The Three Graces'; carved below with garlands and pendants. The architectural triform base, of an exaggerated scroll design, headed with three grotesque masks above the concave sides with classical female masks with scroll work pendants below; raised on large carved eagle claw and ball feet.

Good condition with very minor chips commensurate of age and use
