This nineteenth-century Black Forest coat and hat rack takes the form of a carved hardwood eagle with outstretched wings, perched upon a naturalistic branch base featuring three integral wooden pegs. The dark brown stained timber displays detailed hand-carved feathers on the bird and textured bark patterns along the branch, complemented by brass wire and rings on the reverse for wall mounting. The piece measures 38 cm high, 84 cm wide, and 16 cm deep.
