Description

This antique French wooden Milliner's hat stretcher which sits on it's wooden base dates from c1900 and has an attractive look.

This dark brown hat stretcher has a beautiful patina from years of use and works by turning it's metal handle to open and close the top section to adjust the size.

A wonderful display piece either on its own or by displaying hats or wigs.

Date: c1900.

Dimensions: Length: 35 cm (13 3/4"). Width: 17 cm (6 3/4). Height: 33 cm (13").

Weight: 5.75 kg.

Condition: Very good decorative antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age leaving a wonderful dark patina and look. Some small chips, cracks, bruises and age related wear from use. Some old woodworm that has been treated. Opens and closes OK. Please see pictures.

Please note that only the wooden hat stretcher is included. The hat and any other items in the pictures are for display only.
