Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

This set of three late nineteenth or early twentieth-century Chinese Qing Dynasty nesting occasional tables displays a dark brown hardwood construction with a rich polished finish, openwork carved fretwork aprons featuring geometric motifs, and straight legs united by perimeter stretchers. The tables demonstrate traditional joinery with inset panels and rounded section stepped uprights, showing a well-maintained original surface. The largest table measures 65 cm high, 33 cm wide, and 33 cm deep, with the smaller two tables graduating down in size to fit neatly underneath. Suitable for use in a gentleman's library or positioned at the end of a sofa, these versatile stands provide practical display surfaces while introducing a refined oriental accent to a room interior scheme. They function independently as small side stands or nest together compactly when space requires, offering a combination of utility and traditional craftsmanship.

Qing Dynasty nesting tables typically feature dense tropical hardwoods such as rosewood or hongmu, framed construction, and carved openwork aprons with geometric fretwork motifs designed to store compactly within one another.

Traditional Chinese furniture relies on dense hardwoods constructed using precise floating-panel joinery and complex mortise-and-tenon joints without relying on metal fasteners or iron nails.

Authentic pieces exhibit hand-carved joinery, natural age oxidation in deep carved recesses, subtle timber shrinkage along panel edges, and traditional wax finishes rather than modern synthetic lacquers.

These versatile tables function efficiently layered beside a sofa, positioned as accent tables in a living room, or separated to serve as individual plant stands and drink rests.

Maintain hardwood surfaces by dusting with a soft dry cloth, keeping pieces away from direct heat sources to prevent timber cracking, and applying natural beeswax polish periodically.
