Description

This stunning Edwardian dentist window sign which reads Dental Surgeon is made of milk glass, has a clear textured glass surround with lead finishing and a painted wooden frame.

This highly decorative and rare sign which dates from the early 20th century would have been fitted above a dental surgeon's door or window and still retains some original paint.

An unusual and extremely desirable antique sign that would make a special piece for home display and would also be ideal in a dentist or trendy bar.

Material: Wood. Glass. Lead.

Date: Early 20th century.

Dimensions: Width: 92 cm (36 1/4"). Height: 55 cm (21 1/2"). Depth: 5 cm (2").

Condition: Very good decorative antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some wear, tear, chips and ageing giving the sign a wonderful decorative look. No breaks to glass which is original. Some old repairs and a missing piece from the frame. Please see pictures.
