Small Georgian Mahogany Side Table with Drawer

Description

A handsome small antique Georgian mahogany bedside table or lamp table with superb colour and patina dating from circa 1790. It features a moulded top above a single frieze drawer to the front and dummy drawer to the back, both with turned brass handles. It stands on four elegant square tapered legs united by a wonderfully shaped cross stretcher and terminating in original brass castors. A really good quality country house piece that would have started life as a work table but would now make a beautiful bedside table or work well as a lamp table. In good condition with wonderful figuring and original warm patina throughout.
