A very fine 19th Century Irish well figured mahogany extending D-end dining table in the manner of ‘Williams and Gibton, Dublin', stunningly hand carved, fully restored with beautifully rich patination and grain. This fabulous piece is of exceptional quality, can comfortably seat up to ten people and features three interchangeable extension leaves and a winding mechanism with handle. The D-end moulded top with lovely fluted detailing to the edges is raised over a simple frieze and supported on elegantly tapering, ring turned legs with exquisite scrolling foliate and fluted motif detail, terminating on gorgeous, finely cast brass and ceramic casters with decorative beaded row detailing.
