Brief Description:
This is a fabulous 18th-century French Delft/Faience Polychrome Chinoiserie Charger Dish.
Circa 1770-1780, and probably from the Nevers region.
The vibrant piece is hand-painted with an adorable Chinese man who is seated on a rock, holding an umbrella in one hand, and accompanied by a small butterfly flying above.
The piece is hand-painted in vibrant colours, including manganese, blue, yellow, green, yellow and orange.
