A super original signed " j martin" 19thc nutcracker unusual in that its made of oak.

Beautiful crisp carving of a bearded man wearing clogs

The signature may be an ownership engraving. This man could scare the nut !!

Mean looking hombre.

It measures 21cms h and is perfect

It dates probably around 1850 but could be earlier.

The patination is great and no damage
