A fabulous Victorian taxidermy example of an arrangement of six colourful birds, naturalistically mounted on a mossy branch, amongst ferns and grasses, glass dome, ebonised circular plinth base, dating to c.1880. This is a truly wonderful decorative item that will be show piece in any room that it is displayed in. It has been lightly cleaned and is ready to use.
