Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Royal Dux porcelain originated in Duchcov (Dux), Bohemia, in the mid-19th century. The manufacture gained international prominence around the turn of the 20th century, particularly known for Art Nouveau designs, soft matte finishes, and decorative figurative sculptures.

Traditional pieces were crafted using fine porcelain or biscuit porcelain, often decorated with soft pastel glazes, subtle gilding, and the signature pink clay triangle mark applied during production.

Authentic items typically feature an applied pink clay triangle mark on the base, which includes the letter E or D and the manufacturers name. Mould numbers and painted decorator marks are also frequently impressed or painted on the underside.

Porcelain figures can be arranged in symmetrical pairings on modern shelving, placed within glass display cabinets, or set atop a mantelpiece to serve as understated historical accents alongside minimalist decor.

Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth or a fine brush. Avoid abrasive chemical cleaners and prolonged submersion in water, as moisture can damage unglazed areas or cold-painted detailing.
