The Fancy Fox has dated this Edwardian Porcelain Jewellery Box to the Edwardian era.
The cover has a shaped reserve, framed with gilt scrolls, and painted with pink roses, forget-me-nots, and buttercups. The gadrooned rims are carefully picked out with gilding and the box is finished with gilt rims.

Factory marks to the base and underside of the cover with date cypher for 1905. Also painted with the model number 1010 and pattern number 5589.
It measures 7.6cm (3") by 8cm (3 1/8") wide and 4.2cm (1 5/8") high.

In excellent condition with no damage ore repair and very minor handling wear. A beautiful piece, of good age, in fabulous condition, perfect as a gift for a loved one. Suitable for small jewellery and keepsakes, or for creams or powders on a dressing table.
