The top held by a mould edge frieze, and brackets, over the square section baluster and rounded collar legs, tapering to a chamfer edged shelf, as the legs continue in rounded mould collars, to the mould edge feet. The underside with the original label of ''W A JEWELL, 121 MANCHESTER STREET, CHRISTCHURCH, N Z''.
