An excellent quality English Victorian freestanding satinwood and purpleheart banded antique writing table desk attributed to Donald Ross. The table top and frieze features his distinctive ebony and boxwood geometric trellis parquetry inlaid design with inlaid ebony dots to the diamonds.The table top has brass mouldings to the edge and frieze and to the top of the square tapering legs which have brass fluting to the corners and terminate to square brass castors.
