This nineteenth-century English William IV rosewood centre table, also known as a breakfast table, embodies grand Regency style with its dark brown timber and polished finish. The circular tilt-top has a moulded edge above a central turned column featuring ribbed carving on its lower section. The column stands on a triform plinth base terminating in carved bun feet with castors. A maker's stencil attributed to Taprell, Holland & Son appears on the top of the pedestal.
