A beautiful late 18th century antique carved pine Phoenix bird of large scale and in the original gilt finish. Wonderfully hand carved feathers and talons gripping a pole. Never part of a mirror, designed to hang in space. In excellent condition, a lovely decorative Georgian antique mythical bird.
