The moulded line inlaid hinged top of circular form with a serpentine edge is fitted with a tilting mechanism that allows its top to be positioned in upright orientation and is adorned to the central reserve with a stunning pastoral scene depicting a flock of birds nestling in a field amongst the grasses, wheat sheafs, daisies and foliate, encircled within a marquetry inlaid border featuring gorgeous swags of richly scrolling foliate and flowers with tied ribbon motif detail.
