Description

A most unusual velvet shoe sewing compendium/pincushion. This is most likely a rare survivor. The top lifts up to show space for a thimble and slots for 3 pairs of scissors included with this shoe is a silver thimble, Chester, one small pair of steel scissors. The velvet is in lovely condition signs of wear on the two buttons either side. Some wear to the base. Inside at the heel end there is some embossed writing, I can just make out the word German. Date wise early 20th century.
