Rare Early 19th Century Pine Side Table with Original Paintwork

A rare early 19th century pine side table with original paintwork.

This table consists of a painted cream ground with blue painted decoration, the top with blue painted stylised anthemion and foliate design to each corner with outer blue painted border.

This leads down to an original pine drawer with painted decoration, original painted and turned knob handles with a shaped frieze below, the sides also with painted decoration.

The table is supported on four elegant tapered and painted legs.

It is extremely rare to find a table such as this with original paintwork as many have been stripped of paintwork over the years due to changes in fashion.

This table is very good original condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
