Description

Pair of elegant French 19th Century Marble Antique Cassolettes Urns in the Neoclassical style of outstanding quality, the central dark green marble ovoid shaped body is adorned with Gilt Bronze / Ormolu cast scroll handles with beads that flow downwards and divided by ribbon swags, the bases are platform in style tooled to the edge and are also swept into each corner standing on squat feet. The turned marble lids are removable and finished with a pineapple finial.
