Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

During the seventeenth century, woven tapestry panels were produced across Western Europe, frequently created as decorative covers for cushions or furnishings featuring classical narratives and botanical motifs.

These textiles were crafted using dyed wool and silk threads woven onto linen or wool warps, utilizing detailed stitchwork to produce intricate imagery and durable surfaces.

Authentic period examples display hand-spun yarn variations, natural dye oxidisation, characteristic thread fading, and evidence of historical hand-stitched mounting or repairs.

Framed textile panels can be mounted above a sideboard or console table to introduce rich narrative history and soft tactile contrast within modern or traditional schemes.

Keep the panel mounted behind UV-filtering glass, avoid exposure to direct sunlight or damp environments, and maintain stable ambient humidity to prevent fibre degradation.
