Description

A superb, high quality late Victorian gilt frame with original water gilded finish.

The heavy frame is well constructed and attractively detail. Egg and Dart moulded edge, reeded deep convex inside and with beading to the inner section surrounding the water gilded roll cushion.

The frame measures 61 cm x 51 cm overall, with an opening of 34 cm x 23.5 cm and a rebate at the back for the picture measuring 38 cm x 27 cm.
