In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The hinged tops of the inkwells have a matching art nouveau floral design. It is raised on four small bun feet and is stamped on the underside "GESCHUTZT".
It is in very good condition for its age and the brass has been beautifully cleaned and polished. There are some signs of age and use, some minor dinks and light surface marks but nothing detrimental or untoward and no damage to the inkwells.
