This matched pair of Neoclassical pedestals dates from 1950 and takes the form of classic Corinthian columns. Each piece uses cast stone with a textured, weathered buff finish and stands upon a sturdy square base supporting a smooth cylindrical shaft. The elaborate capitals display traditional carved acanthus leaves, curling volutes at each corner, and central floral motifs, complemented by raised horizontal moulding rings encircling the column shafts just above the bases and beneath the capitals.
