Royal Chi a Works Worcester Pot Pourri, C. 1895.

19th century
Description

Royal China Works Worcester porcelain pot pourri, c. 1895. The Graingers shaped pot pourri, beautifully gilded with sprigs of flowers, on a blush ivory ground. Set upon three gilt paw feet, and having a reticulated band to the neck.

Having a circular inner cover, and lightly domed outer cover, pierced with scrolling foliage, beneath a teardrop finial.

Printed factory marks to the underside, and model number G2837.

Height – 19 cm, 7 1/2”.

Diameter – 16 cm, 6 3/8”.

Condition – Very minor wear to the gilt finial – please see images for detail. No damage. No restoration.
