Earlier roles in government included Chancellor of the Exchequer and Leader of the House of Commons.

Disraeli was a favourite of Queen Victoria. In parallel with his political career, he wrote and published novels throughout his life as well as some poetry and works of non-fiction.

This bust has a label for the Richard Dennis Parian Exhibition held in London in December 1984 which preceded the publication of The Parian Phenomenon by Richard Dennis in 1989.
