A superbly stylish, mirrored back, Louis Philippe French 19th century mahogany console table with single drawer beneath the Grigio Carnico marble top and cabriole front legs that terminate at lions paw feet.
An elegant and well constructed French console table with an exceptional foxed mirrored back, measuring 60cm wide, featuring cabriole column legs with lions paw feet upon plinth base and concealed bun feet, complimented with its original grey-black marble top, believed to date early 19th century, circa 1830.
An attractive console table presenting well in its original mahogany finish, a fine workshop made furniture piece that shows the cabinet makers marks to the upper joints which are visible when top is lifted, the mahogany surface shows a consistent lustre without noticeable wear and tear or distress, some minor areas of wear to the plinth base with some minor veneer lift to 1 side where base meets the leg and small section of matched veneer but not significant nor a distraction or distress, just evidence of a mild timeworn authenticity.
A wonderful decorative antique of function and form that can enhance a classic or contemporary space, an interior design piece of considerable and versatile appeal.
