A MID 19TH CENTURY ENFIELD 3 BAND PERCUSSION MUSKET DATED 1858, IST ESSEX VOLUNTEERS. BARREL STAMPED WITH A BROAD ARROW AND VARIOUS INSPECTORS MARKS, HINGED LADDER REAR SIGHT, THE LOCKPLATE STAMPED WITH A CROWN AND VR AND DATED 1858, THE WALNUT FULL STOCK WITH BRASS FORE END TIP, TRIGGER GUARD AND BUTT PLATE, THE TANG ENGRAVED 1ST.EX.V3, WITH 3 STEEL BARREL BANDS, SINGLE STEEL SWIVEL, THE RIGHT SIDE OF BUTT WITH BROAD ARROW AND SOLD OUT OF SERVICE ARROWS. RAMROD MISSING BUT CAN BE REPLACED FAIRLY EASILY.
