Good Victorian Ornate Gilt Frame No 41

Description

This is a good quality large Victorian gilt frame of good practical size in nice condition overall. This has a later overpainted deep bronzed gilding which has a good antique appearance.The substantial frame is a good size measuring 92 cms by 65.5 cms overall. The aperture is 64.8 cms by 39.2 cms. The opening at the back to receive the painting is 66.5 cms by 41 cms.

It is possible to use this with the slip removed which enables an aperture of 71 cms by 45.5 cms making the opening for the painting 73 cms by 45.5 cms at the back.
