The table boasts a single-plank top (a sign of quality), with a moulded edge, above a single working frieze drawer. The drawer incorporates the original brass lions head brass ring-pull handles on oval backplate escutcheons. The pine-lined drawer is constructed with hand-dovetail joints. The drawer runs smoothly and closes flush to the frame. The Georgian side table stands on four chamfered block legs. The Georgian table has been constructed in the traditional manner for that period. Ideal for use a side table in the living room or a console table in the hall way, or even a small writing desk. This 18th century table is solid in joint and ready to use.

The Georgian side table boasts a lovely mellow mahogany colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

Here is a fine quality antique English Georgian side table, constructed of mahogany, incorporating a single drawer, circa 1820, in good condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges and top (ring-mark), but nothing significant considering the age of the item (see photos). The drawer is in good working order. The pine drawer linings have been restored in the past, to ensure the drawer frame is solid in joint. The drawer closes flush to the frame and retains the original solid brass lions head ring-pull handles and oval backplate escutcheons. The frame has been constructed in the traditional manner for that period. As the Georgian table boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic mellow colour and patination. This occasional table is well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
