A French Farmhouse Coffee Table

19th century
Description

A 19thC French farmhouse coffee table with two deep drawers. A fruitwood (pear) plank top with rounded corners and an elm base. The top has a very good mellow colour and patina . The elm base is peg and tennon constructed ,the drawers having typical crude dovetails. As with all our French furniture it has been completely and thoroughly treated for worm as a precaution.This is a good solid piece,practical,useful and of the perfect size.

140 cm long 79 cm deep and 52 cm high.

The lamp shown in the second photo is NOT included in the sale and is shown to give a sense of proportion.
